Valentine’s Day Printable – Classroom Party

Do classroom parties stress you out?  Pinterest is FULL of ideas that are both cute and spendy.   How about an inexpensive and non-candy treat for the classroom parties?

My kids LOVE glow sticks so I thought that I’d share with you this free download that I whipped up last year for my son to take to kindergarten.  I had to do something that wouldn’t make my son feel “strange” and “awkward” (his words) when giving them to his friends!  So glow sticks with a  more “boyish” font just for my son!

Supplies Needed:

White Cardstock

Paper cutter (or scissors will work too)

Tape (I used scotch)

Glow Sticks (I used the 10 packs for $1 from the Dollar Tree and/or from the Target Dollar Spot

Step 1: Download the file here

Step 2: Print on white cardstock

Step 3: Trim to size using either your paper trimmer or scissors.

Step 4: Open your glow stick containers being careful not to “snap” the stick. (This is also important during transit. It’s helpful to have a few extra on-hand for the inevitable activation that might occur while taking them to school.

Step 5:  Tape the glow stick to the back of the tag.

And you’re done!

You can download your own right here!

And if just one set of free Valentines Day Printables for the Classroom wasn’t enough, I’ve got two more for you!
